Which rail pass should we get? Or individual tickets better?

We're travelling to 4 cities in Italy and Paris in May 2016 and I'm not quite sure which rail pass to get and which will be the better value? There will be 4 travelling adults and the itinerary is:

4th May, Rome - Florence, AM trip

6th May, Florence - Venice, AM trip

7th May, Venice - Dijon, Overnight trip

10 May, Dijon - Paris, AM trip

Please advise - thank you very much!

Hello John,

Thanks for the question.

As you are travelling few places in Italy and France, it is best you book point to point tickets. You can book and travel as follows:

- Rome to FlorenceFrecciarossa train.

- Florence to VeniceFrecciargento train.

- Venice to DijonThello (Night train).

- Dijon to Paris TGV train.

In order to book tickets, please visit our website.

You would need to feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares. You need to select the fare which is preferable to you and then add it to Cart. Once added, you need to mention the names of the passengers to make the payment on the next page.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,

Amar, Rail Europe Travel Expert.
