Which pass to buy for Paris-Swiss-Spain? Also for my itenerary within Switzeland.

Hi , we are a couple travelling with a 6 year old daughter. We are landing in Paris on 18th Feb 2017 and immediately go to Switzerland for about 6 days. In those 6 days, i would like to do Zermatt (1 day), Joungfrau (1 day), then the hike upto Grindelwald and boat cruise in Breinz and move on to Lucerne. Then Mt.Titlis in Lucerne on day 4 , then move to Chur to take Bernina express for a full day to-and-fro travel to Tirano. Then move to Barcelona. Could you tell me the best pass to be got. We plan to cover Swiss, Spain and finally Paris. Thanks in advance. Waiting for a quick reply. I see that for one country to another, its better to buy train/bus/air tickets and get a pass for within country travel. For example, get to Geneva and take Swiss travel pass for 4 days. Am I right? Thanks.

Hello Gayathri,

Thanks for your question.

As per your travel plan, Swiss Pass will be useful for you -

With a Swiss Pass you can travel free within Switzerland on the STS (Swiss Travel System) network on trains, buses and boats. Also with a Swiss Pass you would get discounts on mountain excursions within Switzerland. This discounts can only be availed locally by showing your Swiss Pass to the ticketing office in Switzerland.

However despite having a pass reservations are mandatory with additional cost on high-speed trains, night trains, scenic trains and border crossing trains.

For your travel to Barcelona and Paris, point to point tickets will be advisable.

In order to book tickets, please visit our website.

You would need to feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”.

Hope this helps!!!
