Understanding Scandinavia Pass

Hi there! I need some help for my upcoming trip for Sweden and Norway. I am not too sure if a rail pass is worth it or should i buy the point to point ticket.

1. Travelling from Gothenburg to Abisko Ostra by train (understand that this trip will take 23hrs approx)

2. Abisko Ostra to Narvik by train

3. Narvik to Tromso by bus

4. Tromso to Oslo by flight

5. Oslo to Oslo or opting for norway in a nutshell tour or DIY.

So basically i will be travelling by train probably 4-5 times on different days. So is it worth it to buy a rail pass or point to point since you guys have promotion for early bookings?

Hello Nur Hamizah Hashim,

Thanks for the question.

Since you are traveling extensively, it is best to purchase Eurail Scandinavian Pass for your travel.

To purchase Eurail Scandinavian Pass click “Here”.

Keep in mind that seat reservations would be mandatory for all High-Speed, Night, Scenic and Border Crossing trains. But, you will avail pass holder/discounted fares for these journeys with the pass.

In order to book seat reservations, please visit our website.

The pass seats can be reserved by clicking on “Seat Reservations” & feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on

“search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the

fares.

Please click on the “Fare Details” tab to view details regarding the type of fare, type of seat, whether a reservation is included or not and the After Sales Policy.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,

Leora, Rail Europe Travel Expert.
