Hello Enies,

Thanks for the question.

As you are travelling only few cities in each country, it is best to purchase point to point ticket. Also from Gelsenkirchen to Essen you will need to book locally, as this sector is not bookable on our website. For your further journey you can book and travel as follows:

- Essen to Amsterdam via Brussels Thalys trains.

- Amsterdam to Paris – Thalys train.

- Paris to Rome via Milan Thello Night train and Frecciarossa train.

- Rome to Florence – Frecciarossa train.

- Florence to Salzburg via Innsbruck City Night Line and Railjet trains.

In order to book tickets, please visit our website.

You would need to feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares. You need to select the fare which is preferable to you and then add it to Cart. Once added, you need to mention the names of the passengers to make the payment on the next page.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,

Amar, Rail Europe Travel Expert.

The travel duration from Salzburg to Dusseldorf via Munich is approximately 7 and a half hour. However it is advised to keep a time gap of atleast 2 hours between the train and flight journey.
