Hello Sir/Madam,

Thanks for the question.

As per the above itinerary, you can purchase Eurail 4 country Pass for your travel in France-Benelux-Germany-Switzerland. This pass will allow you to travel on all regional and domestic trains within the countries mentioned.

To purchase the pass click "Here".

Keep in mind that seat reservations would be mandatory for all High-Speed, Night, Scenic and Border Crossing trains. But, you will avail pass holder/discounted fares for these journeys with the pass.

In order to book seat reservations, please visit our website.

The pass seats can be reserved by clicking on “Seat Reservations” & feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.

Please click on the “Fare Details” tab to view details regarding the type of fare, type of seat, whether a reservation is included or not and the After Sales Policy.

Children aged 4 to 11 years travel free with adult holding the pass, however they need to be mentioned in the pass. Seat reservations would be required under child fare.

You can purchase the Eurail Pass with travel together discount and follow the below procedure to add free child.

You need to add to cart the pass for 2 adults with travel together discount and click on Keep on hold for 48 hours button. Once kept on hold you can drop us an email with the request to add free child and the booking number. Our team will assist you further.

Hi,

Thank you for the reply , it is really helpful . I have a few more queries as follows:

1.Which Trains are covered in Switzerland if we buy the 5 Days in 2 months pass?

2.How do we activate the pass and record the number of days - as the days will not be concecutive?

3.How do we collect the reservation for high speed trains ?

Hello Sohini,

Thanks for the reply.

As per the above :

1) if you purchase the Eurail 4 country pass you can travel from one city to another in Switzerland. If there is any specific train you wish to take you can provide us the name so we can check and assist you if it is valid with the pass.

You can travel on Intecity, Eurocities and Regional train with the pass in Switzerland. Scenic train would require seat reservation and mountain trains and cable cars you will receive discount with the pass when purchasing locally.

2) The pass needs to be validate on the first day of travel with the pass at the ticket window prior taking the first train. The pass will be valid for 2 months from the first day of travel. Hence you can fill in the details as per the days you travel with the pass.

3) Note that pass seat reservations are mostly paper ticket and will be delivered t you in 8 business days. You can follow the below procedure for seat reservation on the website:

Kindly note that pass seats can be reserved by clicking on "I have a rail Pass" on the home page of our website under "Book Train tickets" & then select the name of the pass and feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on "Search". Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.

Please click on the “Fare Details” tab to view details regarding the type of fare, type of seat, whether a reservation is included or not and the After Sales Policy.

Hope this helps!!!
