2- i am planning to travel from Zurich to interlaken (can you suggest which interlaken station is recommended eg OST or west) on 1st sept and then from Interlaken (can you suggest which interlaken station is recommended eg OST or west) to Paris (Gare de Lyon) on 4th sept. can you suggest, how can i book?

3- also the transfer time from 1 tain to another is 5 Minutes, is it enough or should i choose other option with higher transfer window?

Hello Imran,

Thanks for the question.

Below are the details :

1) Yes you can carry 2 big luggage and a hand luggage for your travel on the train. Trains have overhead storage racks throughout the car, storage at the back of some seats and luggage areas at the end of the car. Most stations do not have porter services.

Note: Luggage kept by the passenger and placed in the luggage racks remains under the sole responsibility of the traveler. The railroads assume no responsibility in case of loss, damage, or theft.

2) We cannot suggest the station to arrive or depart in Interlaken. There are trains from Zurich to Interlaken OST as well as West station. You can let us know where you are residing in Interlaken so we can check for the closest station for your travel.

As you are booking only few journeys you can book point to point tickets for your travel :

- Zurich to Interlaken via 1 change at Bern - Eurocity and intercity trains.

- Interlaken to Paris via 1 change at Basel - Intercities and TGV Lyria train.

In order to book tickets, please visit our website.

You would need to feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares. You need to select the fare which is preferable to you and then add it to Cart. Once added, you need to mention the names of the passengers to make the payment on the next page.

3) We advice a time gap of 15 min or more to change the train. 5 min will not be enough to change the trains. Kindly break and book your travel with upto 30 min of change time.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,

Amar, Rail Europe Travel Expert.
