TRAVELLING FROM PAMPLONA TO PARIS

I need to travel from Pamplona to Paris (or another city in the north of Spain) to Paris on 05 Dec. I'm happy to take a combination of buses and trains and would like to get there within the shortest time possible (ideally leaving Pamplona after 11am in the morning and arriving in Paris no later than 10pm). What are the options I can take?

Hello Dylan,

Thanks for your question.

You can travel as follows :-

- Pamplona to Hendaye via Vitoria - Renfe trains.

- Henadye to Paris - TGV train.

In order to book tickets, please visit our website.

You would need to feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares. You need to select the fare which is preferable to you and then Add it to Cart. Once added, you need to mention the names of the passengers to make the payment on the next page.

Hope this helps!!!

Hi Priyanka,

According to the booking system there is only one train from Pamplona to Hendaye: (16:42- PAMPLONA, 20:52- HENDAYE), and then no trains from Hendaye after 19:24.

How might I actually be able to get to Paris within a day between 11am and 9pm? As I said, I'm happy to take a connection to Bilbao or San Sebastián or another larger city, or take a combination of services but I just need to find a way of being able to travel to Paris within the course of the day.

Any specific options (with times included) that you're able to provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Dylan

Thanks Priyanka,

However now when I have got to put in tickets I am greeted with the message:

"Sorry the dates that you have

chosen won’t allow an on time delivery of your tickets. Your selected

journey is not eligible for electronic tickets. The first possible

travel date is highlighted in the below calendar." [being the 10th of December]

I have visited the local train station in Pamplona and have been told that there is no possibility of purchasing tickets for this journey there also. Am I seriously to believe that there is no option of purchasing tickets for a train journey that is at the end of the week??? I would have thought this would be a fairly seamless process but to be told that none of the three ticketing options are available several days in advance of a journey is quite ridiculous.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Dylan,

Thanks for your revert.

Please note that on our website http://www.raileurope-world.com, bookings for travel less than 8 days from date of departure cannot be processed.

Unfortunately I cannot comment on the availability of tickets at the train station as your travel sectors are bookable 2 months in advance and hence the trains now may be soldout.
