Traveling 5 countries (2 adults + 2 kids)

I'm traveling for 15 days passing by 5 or 6 countries. Sofia (Bulgaria), Italy (rome, venice), france, brussels and amsterdam. My question is if I purchase the Euro Global Pass, I still need to buy other train tickets I mean from one country to the another or I could use unlimited train to travel over those countries. I saw some answers saying that I can have a discount on a fares when I buy this Euro Global Passes, but I understood before that if I have this passes I don't need to purchase anything else on those 15 days. Thanks

Dear Jose,

Thank you for your question.

If you are travelling extensively by trains then a Eurail Global pass is advised.

With a pass you can travel free only on regional trains.

Despite having a pass reservations are mandatory with additional cost on high-speed trains, night trains, scenic trains and border crossing trains.

The pass seats can be reserved by clicking on "seat reservation" when using your rail pass & then feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.

Please click on the “Fare Details” tab to view details regarding the type of fare, type of seat, whether a reservation is included or not and the After Sales Policy.

Hope this helps!!!

I think this information will be useful if you often use trains . And it will be useful if you have children
