Travel from Spain > France > Belgium > Netherlands

I'm starting my journey on 2 January from Barcelona and ending it in Amsterdam/Schipol Airport on 18 January. I'm planning to visit

- Lyon

- Paris

- Ghent

- Brugge

- Rotterdam

- Amsterdam

May I know which is the best route to travel and if there's any suitable pass for the itinerary? Thanks!

Hello Valere,

Thanks for your question.

As you are travelling extensively in France, Belgium and Netherlands, I suggest you purchase a Eurail Benelux-France Pass.

With a Pass you can avail of unlimited travel on the national rail networks of the countries covered by your pass.

Passes can be purchased up to 6 months before your first day of travel. The pass must be validated within 6 months from the original date of issue.

Reservations are mandatory on high-speed trains, night trains, scenic trains and border crossing trains.

With a Pass the seat reservations will be offered at discounted fares (Pass holder fares).

The pass seats can be reserved by clicking on "Seat Reservations“ & feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.

Please click on the “Fare Details” tab to view details regarding the type of fare, type of seat, whether a reservation is included or not and the After Sales Policy.

If you are traveling extensively in Spain, I suggest you purchase a Renfe Spain Pass. Else you can purchase point to point tickets for your travel within Spain.

Hope this helps!!!
