Travel from France to Switzerland with bicycles

Hello, we want to get to Oberalppass in Switzerland with our bicycles. We will either arrive in Nancy on 27th July or we will travel to Macon on the 13th July, which ever will be easier. I know the last section is by narrow gage train. I hope you can help. Josie

Hello Josie,

Thanks for your question.

Please note your travel sector below :-

- Nancy to Basel via Metz Ville - TER and Other trains.

- Basel to Andermatt via Goeschenen - Other trains.

- Andermatt to Oberalppass - Book locally.

If you wish to travel from Macon you have to travel as follows :-

- Macon to Basel via Dijon - TER and TGV trains.

- Basel to Andermatt via Goeschenen - Other trains.

- Andermatt to Oberalppass - Book locally.

In order to book tickets, please visit our website.

You would need to feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.

Hope this helps!!!
