Train that connects Paris - Geneva - Lucern/Bern/Basel - Zurich - Frankfurt - Berlin - Paris.

Members, pls. suggest if there are train connections to the above destinations. And is this a good way to see swiss, Germany.

After Genva, am ok to visit any of the three (lucern / bern / basel) that is not a detour and is enroute to Zurich.

After zurich, if frankfurt is not the natural way to Berlin, you can suggest any other city in Germany that is not a detour, enroute to Berlin.

Then Berlin to Paris.

Apologies if this plan sounds crazy. Appreciate any suggestion pls. Have 5 days at hand. Thanks in advance for the help.

Hello Gopalan,

Thanks for the question.

You can also refer to our travel magazine Connexion for sample itineraries.

Also since you would be traveling extensively in Switzerland and Germany, I would suggest the Swiss-Germany Pass for your travel.

For your requested journey please follow as given below:

- Paris to GenevaTGV Lyria train.

- Geneva to Bern – Eurocities train.

- Bern to Basel – Eurocities train.

- Basel to Luzern – Eurocities train.

- Luzern to Zurich – Eurocities train.

- Zurich to Frankfurt ICE train.

- Frankfurt to Berlin – ICE train.

- Berlin to Paris via Frankfurt – ICE to TGV France-Germany trains.

In order to book tickets, please visit our website.

You would need to feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares. You need to select the fare which is preferable to you and then Add it to Cart. Once added, you need to mention the names of the passengers to make the payment on the next page.

Hope this helps!!!
