Hello Saphira,

Thanks for your question.

You can travel as follows :-

- Toledo to Cordoba via Madrid - AVE trains.

- Cordoba to Granada - Direct train.

- Granada to Ronda - Direct train.

- Ronda to Burgos via Madrid - Renfe trains.

As you are traveling extensively within Spain, I would suggest that you buy Eurail Spain Pass OR Renfe Spain Pass.

In order to book tickets or Pass, please visit our website.

You would need to feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares. You need to select the fare which is preferable to you and then Add it to Cart. Once added, you need to mention the names of the passengers to make the payment on the next page.

Hope this helps!!!

Thank you, this is very helpful. In assessing whether to buy the Spain Pass for 4-6 trips, would you know how the trips are counted? For example, if we do the following trips below, how many actual trips would be covered by the pass? For example, would each trip through Madrid be a separate leg (such as, Ronda to Burgos), or would it be considered one trip? Would the cost differential be worth it? Finally, will the pass be mailed to the US in advance, or would we need to pick it up once in Madrid on December 19? Thanks so much for your help.

Madrid to Toledo

Toledo to Cordoba

Cordoba to Granada

Granada to Ronda

Ronda to Burgos

Burgos to Madrid

Hello Saphira,

Thanks for your revert.

Kindly note that each journey would be a separate leg. For example. Rondo to Madrid would be 1st leg and Madrid to Burgos would be 2nd leg.

Hope this helps!!!

Thank you for your guidance. I have another few questions: (1) When is it possible to buy tickets for travel December 20 - 29? I am unable to confirm tickets this far in advance on your website. (2) Is it possible to buy the RENFE Spain Pass for youth (ages 16 and 22)? The website does not allow this transaction? (3) If I were to buy the Spain RENFE pass, would I need to wait until arriving in Spain on December 19 to validate the card and make reservations in a train station, or can any of that be completed in advance? I appreciate your help, and thank you for your time.

Hello Saphira,

Thanks for your question.

1) Kindly note that due to winter schedule change the trains for your travel date are not loaded. Thus you won’t find connections on the website for this date. Please try booking closer to your departure dates.

2) With Renfe Spain Pass there are no youth fares available, You would have to book an adult fare for ages 16 and 22.

3) Eurail Spain Pass can be purchased up to 6 months before your first day of travel. The pass must be validated within 6 months from the original date of issue. Please click here to Know about the Validation process.

Reservations are mandatory on high-speed trains, night trains, scenic trains and border crossing trains with both the pass. With a Pass the seat reservations will be offered at discounted fares (Pass holder fares).

The pass seats can be reserved by clicking on "book a compulsory seat reservation when using your rail pass" & feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.

Also note that Reservations can be done in advance but your pass need to be validated at Spain train station only.

In order to book pass, please visit our website.

Hope this helps!!!
