Thalys

Hi, I am planning to buy Eurail Benelux Pass. May I confirm if I can travel on Thalys trains (1) from Amsterdam to Rotterdam; (2) from Rotterdam to Brussels without additional fare?

Furthermore, is the train from Luxemburg to Trier/Koblnez (Germany) be included in the Benelux Pass?

Hello Tsz Lun Poon,

Thanks for your question.

Since Thalys trains are High-Speed trains, you would have to pay additional seat reservation charges. Only on regional trains can you with a validated pass.

You would have to purchase open tickets from the last station in Luxembourg to Trier to travel.

You would have to purchase point to point tickets for your travel to Koblnez.

Hope this helps!!!
