Taking earlier or later train than booked (with first class ticket)

I plan to buy a first class ticket from Southampton

to Brussels (changing in London from Waterloo

to St Pancras stations for Eurostar). If late for 11:00

booked departure from Southampton will I be allowed to take 11:30 train? Conversely, if I book 11:30 train will I be allowed to take 11:00 train if I arrive early enough and space

permits?

Hello Richard,

Thanks for your question.

Please click on the “Fare Details” tab to view details regarding the type of fare, type of seat, whether a reservation is included or not and the After Sales Policy.

" Reservation Included" means seat reservation cost is included with the cost you pay for your ticket and it guarantees you a seat.

Please note if you miss a train you would have to purchase another reservation, the same seat reservation cannot be used on another train. A new ticket would be required for you to travel. Neither you can travel on the earlier train.

Hope this helps!!!
