SWISS PASS VS GLOBAL EURAIL PASS

Hi, I've recently just bought the global eurail pass continuous for 25 days and am wondering if I'd still be needing the Swiss travel pass? I'll be staying in lucerne about 3 days and will be making day trips to mt titlis and Interlake/lauterbrunnen. As the global pass already offer free scenic trains, I was wondering if the cost of Swiss pass would be cheaper than point to point tickets? Please advise thanks!

Hello,

Thanks for the question.

With Eurail Global Pass, you can travel free on Intercity and Eurocities train within Swizterland as it does not require seat reservation. However scenic trains do require seat reservation which cost extra.

May we know all the cities you wish to travel and the order of travel in Switzerland so we can check and assist you further.

Best Regards,

Amar, Rail Europe Travel Expert.
