  • 04 JUL (MON) -

    Travel from Valensole to Aix-en-Provence

  • 05 JUL (TUE) -

    Travel from Aix-en-Provence to Nice

  • 06 JUL (WED) - Travel

    in Nice

  • 07 JUL (THU) - Travel

The first five days there will be 4 of us travel around France and the remaining 4 days will be on myself. Can you advise which rail pass should I go for? Daily pass, Saver Pass or France Rail Pass?

For the France Rail Pass, does it cover normal metro in Paris city?

Thanks & best regards,

Dear Melanie,

Thank you for your question.

Saver pass is a discounted fare for 2-5 adults travelling together at all times and individual pass is the normal fare for a single person.

You can book Saver pass for Adults travelling together and separate pass for passenger traveling individually.

The France Rail Pass is the ultimate pass to explore France.

With this pass you can travel free on TER trains, which are regional trains of France.

Valid on RER Line B from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Paris Nord Station (not the other way):

Prior to boarding RER, proceed to the SNCF-Transilien ticket counter in Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle and ask for a “contremarque” voucher

France Rail Pass is also valid on RER C line. Other metros not covered by this pass.

However keep in mind that seat reservations would be mandatory for all High-Speed, Night, Scenic and Border Crossing trains. But, you will avail pass holder/discounted fares for these journeys with the France Rail pass.

In order to book seat reservations, please visit our website.

The pass seats can be reserved by clicking on “Seat Reservations” & feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.

Please click on the “Fare Details” tab to view details regarding the type of fare, type of seat, whether a reservation is included or not and the After Sales Policy.

Hope this helps!!!

Hi Aamir,

1. If I buy France Rail Pass, is it valid to travel from Paris to Aix, from Aix to Nice and from Nice to Paris?

2. Where can I book the Saver Pass?

Thanks & best regards,

Melanie
