Seats not showing up when trying to reserve with Spain/Portugal Rail Pass

I'm trying to purchase a rail pass for Spain/Portugal - its currently in my cart. Also trying to reserve seats - I was successful for Barcelona-Madrid, Madrid-Granada, and Granada-Seville. Those reservations are also currently in my cart.

For the Madrid-Toledo (Sep 24), Toledo-Madrid (Sep 26), and Seville-Madrid (Oct 5) bookings, when I try to reserve using the Spain/Portugal pass, I get "no schedules match your request". So then I use the embedded map on that page to search for seats, and plenty of seats come back. However, it doesn't appear to recognize my Spain/Portugal pass at that point, and I'm paying full fare.

How do I use the pass to get the seats that I can see are available?

Thanks for your question.

Pass seat reservations for Spanish and Portuguese sectors would have to be done locally as it cannot be made on the website.

All Spanish train seats have to be reserved locally at the train station in Spain.

Yes, you would have to purchase reservations just before traveling.
