Rail Passes

Hi,

I'm been reading about the various passes available for traveling in Europe on rail, but I'm sill not sure the differences and which passes I should be looking at. I'm still starting to plan my holiday in Europe - France, Belgium, Netherlands, and Denmark. a brief framework of my itinerary

2 and half days in Paris, France (Sep 18, 19, 20)

3-days in Brussels, Belgium (Sep 21,22, 23)

3 days in Amsterdam, Netherland (Sep 24,25, 26)

3 days in Copenhagen (Sep 26, 26, 28, and leaving

With the above itinerary, what would you recommend me to take Eurail? Which pass will give me more saving? Any additional cost I should take note of?

Thank you a lot

Kind Regards,

Bothyna

Hello Kunal,

Thanks for your question.

For your travel in Paris, I suggest you purchase a Paris Pass.

The Paris Pass offers you the most romantic city in the world, its attractions and shopping galleries at a bargain deal.

For your travel in Belgium and Netherlands, I suggest you purchase a Eurail Benelux Pass.

The Eurail Benelux Pass is the ultimate pass to discover Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. All three countries are commonly known as Benelux and are offered as a single destination in your Eurail Pass.

For your travel in Copenhagen, I suggest you purchase a Eurail Denmark Pass.

The Eurail Denmark Pass is the most comprehensive way to explore Denmark.

Reservations are mandatory on high-speed trains, night trains, scenic trains and border crossing trains.

With a Pass the seat reservations will be offered at discounted fares (Pass holder fares).

The pass seats can be reserved by clicking on "Seat Reservations“ & feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.

Please click on the “Fare Details” tab to view details regarding the type of fare, type of seat, whether a reservation is included or not and the After Sales Policy.

Hope this helps!!!
