Dear Rail Europe Travel Expert,

I am Nattanan. I plan to visit Spain and Eastern Europe for 18 days in June.

I will start at Barcelona where my plane will land safely then transfer to Valencia

and return to Barcelona then follow by Paris, Prague, Kavlovy Vary, Cesky Krumlov,

Vienna, Budapest, Dubrovnik, Split, Zagerb then return to Bangkok by Qatar Airways

Please kindly suggest me the type of passes that I should buy.

Hello Nattanan,

Thanks for your question.

As per your travel plan the best product for your travel would be Eurail Global Pass. The Eurail Global Pass offers you unlimited travel on the national rail networks of 28 European countries.

To purchase the Eurail Global Pass click “Here”.

Keep in mind that seat reservations would be mandatory for all High-Speed, Night, Scenic and Border Crossing trains. But, you will avail pass holder/discounted fares for these journeys with the pass.

In order to book seat reservations, please visit our website.

The pass seats can be reserved by clicking on “Seat Reservations” & feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.

Please click on the “Fare Details” tab to view details regarding the type of fare, type of seat, whether a reservation is included or not and the After Sales Policy.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,

Amar, Rail Europe Travel Expert.

Hello Nattanan,

Thanks for the reply.

For your travel from Prague to Cesky Krumlov you can follow the below route:

- Prague to Ceske Budejovice – Eurocities train. You will need to purchase seat reservation at the train station in Prague as it is not bookable on the website.

- Ceske Budejovice to Cesky Krumlov – Regional Train. Which you can travel free with the Eurail Global Pass.

And for your travel to Dubrovnic you will need to take local transport from Split.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,
