Night trains information in Scandinavian/Nordic countries

I'm planning a three week trip in Nordic countries. I want to know if direct overnight trains are available on following routes on the dates mentioned 26/07/2016 - Night train from Copenhagen to Oslo or from Malmo to Oslo or any other alternative if possible near CopenhagenOr 27/07/2016 - Night train from Gothenburg to Oslo 30/07/2016 - Night train from Oslo to Bergen 01/08/2016 - Night train from Oslo to Stockholm There are direct day trains but timing is quite inconvenient.

Please kindly advice other alternatives if possible. Regards,Niranjan

Hello Niranjan,

Thanks for the question.

Unfortunately there are no overnight trains for your journey. You can book on the trains available on the website.

You can follow the below route:

- Copenhagen to Oslo via c– Other train and Eurocities train.

- Malmo to Oslo via Gotheneburg – Other train and Eurocities train.

- Gothenburg to Oslo – Eurocities train.

- Oslo to Bergen – Intercity train.

- Oslo to Stockholm – Other train.

In order to book tickets, please visit our website.

You would need to feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares. You need to select the fare which is preferable to you and then add it to Cart. Once added, you need to mention the names of the passengers to make the payment on the next page.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,

Hi Leora,

Thanks for the reply, it does certainly help. It would be really great if there are night trains between these countries which would considerably cut the travel time during day . Anyway I'll re-plan accordingly.
