My daughter is 14 years of age on date of travel (i.e in October 2016).

Will she be categorized as "Child" on the Vienna-Bratislava and Vienna-Budapest routes?

Hello Jaideep,

Thanks for the question.

Child age is from 4 to 11 years and Youth age is from 12 to 25 years. Hence your daughter who is 14 years old will be considered as a Youth while purchasing tickets on the website.

You can book and travel as follows:

- Vienna to Bratislava - Eurocities train.

- Vienna to Budapest - Railjet train.

In order to book tickets, please visit our website.

You would need to feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares. You need to select the fare which is preferable to you and then add it to Cart. Once added, you need to mention the names of the passengers to make the payment on the next page.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,
