London -- Amsterdam -- Wilderswil -- Paris
I am planning to go for a europe trip on May.
my itinerary is as below -
2/May/2017 (Tue) - London --> Amsterdam
3/May/2017 (Wed) - Amsterdam --> Keukenhof --> Amsterdam
4/May/2017 (Thr) - Amsterdam --> Wilderswil
5/May/2017 (Fri) - Wilderswil --> Jungfrau -- > Wengen --> Wilderswil
6/May/2017 (Sat) - Wilderswil --> Paris
Q1. Can you help to advice which Eurail pass should I buy.
Q2. Can we start using the Eurail pass from London?
Q2. Can we take the train from Amsterdam to Wilderswil passing through germany if we did not include germany in our selected pass (if we plan to take 3 country without Germany)
Let me know.
Thanks for the question.
You can purchase Eurail Select Pass 3 countries with Benelux - Switzerland - France.
To purchase the Pass click "Here".
With a Pass you will avail passholder fares from London to Brussels on Eurostar train for which you will need to purchase seat reservations.
Keep in mind that seat reservations would be mandatory for all High-Speed, Night, Scenic and Border Crossing trains. But, you will avail pass holder/discounted fares for these journeys with the pass. With a Pass you can travel on regional/intercity trains within a country.
As you do not have Germany in your Pass and if you wish to pass via Germany for your travel from Amsterdam to Wilderswil, you will need to purchase point to point ticket from the boarder station of Amsterdam to the boarder station of Switzerland i.e. from Arnhem to Basel. However, you can travel from Amsterdam to Paris and Paris to Basel with your Pass for which you will need to purchase seat reservations. As Basel to Wilderswil is via Regional train, you can travel free with your Pass.
In order to book seat reservations, please visit our website.
The pass seats can be reserved by clicking on “Seat Reservations” & feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.
Please click on the “Fare Details” tab to view details regarding the type of fare, type of seat, whether a reservation is included or not and the After Sales Policy.
Hope this helps!!!
