Hello Petula,

Thanks for the question.

You can purchase Eurail France Pass for your travel.

You can follow the below route:

- Paris - Marseille - Saint-Tropez (closest train station is Hyères) - Cannes - Monaco - Amsterdam.

As you will be traveling next week, you can purchase Eurail France Pass from the Eurail Aid Office in France as the printing option for your Pass is Paper ticket which will have to be shipped to you and delivery is within 8 business days. Seat reservations can be purchased locally from the train station subject to availability. Below are the detail of Eurail Aid Office in Paris:

- Paris

Gare de Lyon

Mon-Son: 6:00 am - 8:30 pm

Hall 3:

Mon-Fri: 5:45 am - 8:45 pm

Saturday: 6:00 am - 8:45 pm

Sun, bank holidays: 7:00 am - 8:00 pm

Keep in mind that seat reservations would be mandatory for all High-Speed, Night, Scenic and Border Crossing trains. But, you will avail pass holder/discounted fares for these journeys with the pass. With a Pass you can travel on regional/intercity trains within a country.

For your travel from Paris to Amsterdam, you can purchase point to point tickets as below:

- Paris to Amsterdam - Thalys train.

In order to book tickets, please visit our website.

You would need to feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares. You need to select the fare which is preferable to you and then add it to Cart. Once added, you need to mention the names of the passengers to make the payment on the next page.

Hope this helps!!!

Hello Petula,

Thanks for your reply.

The standard delivery of Pass is within 8 business days if booked on the World website. As you will be in Paris in the next week and if your travel is around the same time, the Pass will not get delivered to you hence you can purchase Pass from the Eurail Aid Office in Paris. Seat reservations can be purchased locally from the train station subject to availability.

There are no passholder fares from Paris to Amsterdam with a Pass hence you will need to purchase point to point ticket for this route.

As fares are dynamic and subject to change, we unfortunately, cannot give fare quotations. You will need to check the same locally.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,

Leora, Rail Europe Travel Expert.
