I want to travel for 14 - 21 days all over Europe at my own time and destinations

I do not like pre-arranged itinerary but awant to travel and stop at places/town we (wife and I) feel like stopping. We want to experience night trains and arrive in a city where we jump off for a few days. Is that a correct thing to do? Would we be stranded in a place without accommodation?? This will be our first.....both in Europe and by train!

Hello Ahmad,

Thanks for the question.

For your travel you can purchase the Eurail Global Pass. The Eurail Global Pass offers you unlimited travel on the national rail networks of 28 European countries.

To purchase the Eurail Global Pass click "Here".

Keep in mind that seat reservations would be mandatory for all High-Speed, Night, Scenic and Border Crossing trains. But, you will avail pass holder/discounted fares for these journeys with the pass.

As you will travel and plan on the spot you will need to purchase seat reservation at the train station prior your travel which will be subject to availability.

Unfortunately we cannot comment on the accommodations as we only assist in train travel.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,

Amar, Rail Europe Travel Expert.
