I intend to purchase the Renfe Spain Pass for travel from:

Journey 1 & 2: Madrid to Segovia (AVE 2-way),

Journey 3: Granada to Ronda (regional train) and

Journey 4: Sevilla to Barcelona (AVE).

Can I purchase the Renfe Spain Pass (4 journeys within 1 month) for the above routes? If the train journey from Sevilla to Barcelona is direct, would the Renfe Spain pass with 4 journeys within 1 month suffice?

If the train journey from Sevilla to Barcelona requires a transfer at Madrid, would this be considered 2 journeys, instead of 1? Hence I will have to purchase the 6 journeys pass instead?

Thank you!

Hello Soew Hoon Goh,

Thanks for your question.

1) Yes, the 4 journey pass should suffice for your travel within Spain.

2) Your journey from Seville to Barcelona is a direct journey, you need not transfer via Madrid. This would be considered as one/single journey itself.

Hope this helps!!!
