How to buy tickets for seniors - savers Pass for a couple

We are a couple from Bangalore, visiting Switzerland and Germany for 20 days from 21st August to 8th September and would like to buy saver Pass for seniors. We will take scenic trains for Jungfaujoch, Glacier Express and Bernina Express. How to buy the best ticket? Is there a number we call Eurorail in Mumbai? I remember having spoken to them when we visited Spain one year ago. Please advise.

Thanks Avinash Agrawal

Itinerary Frankfurt - Lucerne-Interlaken- Lausanne _Geneva(day trip), Lucerne to Bern (Newchatel)

Lausanne to Zermatt (visit Matterhorn), Zermatt to St Moritza (Glacier Express), Bernina Express to Tirani, Tirano to Zurich, Zurich to Trieburg, Trieburg to Frankfurt, Frankfurt to Colon and back, Frankfurt to Rotherburg ob der tauber and back (day trip).

Total 10 days that we will travel including four day trips.

Hello Avinash,

Thanks for the question.

As per your Itinerary it is best to purchase Eurail Germany - Switzerland Pass for your travel.

To purchase the Pass click "Here".

Kindly note, there is no Senior Pass for travel. You will need to purchase Adult Pass. To purchase Saver Pass, you will need to click on "We all travel together and get a discount".

As this is a back office, the only point of contact is via chat and email.

Keep in mind that seat reservations would be mandatory for all High-Speed, Night, Scenic and Border Crossing trains. But, you will avail pass holder/discounted fares for these journeys with the pass. With a Pass you can travel on regional/intercity trains within a country.

The route to Jungfraujoch is as follows:

Interlaken – Grindelwald/ Lauterbrunnen – Jungfraujoch.

Interlaken – Grindelwald/ Lauterbrunnen : Free with the Pass

Grindelwald/ Lauterbrunnen– Jungfraujoch : Mountain Train/Cable Car ride, has to be booked locally. You will get a discount with the Pass.

In order to book seat reservations, please visit our website.

The pass seats can be reserved by clicking on “Seat Reservations” & feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.

Please click on the “Fare Details” tab to view details regarding the type of fare, type of seat, whether a reservation is included or not and the After Sales Policy.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,
