Hello Poonam,

Thanks for your question.

You can also refer to our travel magazine Connexion for sample itineraries.

As you are travelling extensively within Switzerland, I suggest that you purchase a Swiss Pass.

With a Swiss Pass you can travel free within Switzerland on the STS (Swiss Travel System) network on trains, buses and boats. Also with a Swiss Pass you would get discounts on mountain excursions within Switzerland. These discount can be availed by showing your Swiss Pass at the ticketing office in Switzerland.

Passes can be purchased up to 6 months before your first day of travel. The pass must be validated within 6 months from the original date of issue.

Reservations are mandatory on high-speed trains, night trains, scenic trains and border crossing trains. However with a Swiss Pass the seat reservation will be offered at discounted fares (Pass holder fares).

The pass seats can be reserved by clicking on "book a compulsory seat reservation when using your rail pass & then feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.

In order to book a pass, please visit our website.

Hope this helps!!!

Hope this helps.
