Hello Titto,

Thanks for your question.

The best to travel between England, Wales and Scotland would be with the Brit Rail Pass.

This pass would give you extensive travel with these countries on their regional and national trains. Seat reservations are compulsory for high speed, international(border crossing) and night trains.

However, as you will be travelling with a rail pass, you will only have to pay for a small reservation fee, as opposed to the usual standard fare.

For your travel in the Republic of Ireland, if you would be traveling extensively then I would suggest the Ireland Pass or else point to point tickets would be cheaper if the travel is not extensive.

Hope this helps!!!

Regards,

Anthony, Rail Europe Travel Expert.
