Holiday in Dec 2015 : Prague, Czech Rep and Austria

We are on holiday in Prague between 25 Dec 2015 - 7 January 2016. During that time we want to travel from Prague to the small towns in Czech Republic, but also to different towns and cities in Austria. We are a family of 4 (children age 15 and 16). (1) What will total cost of 6 days pass be? (2) If we buy 6 day pass, can we travel any day dbetween 25 Dec - 7 Jan or must we travel on spesific days?

Hello Phil-Marie,

Thanks for your question.

The Eurail Austria-Czech Republic Pass is the most comprehensive pass to visit Austria and the Czech Republic. Architectural and cultural wonders abound in Austria and the Czech Republic.

With a Eurail Austria-Czech Republic Pass you can avail of unlimited travel on the national rail networks of the countries covered by your pass.

Reservations are mandatory on high-speed trains, night trains, scenic trains and border crossing trains.

With a Pass the seat reservations will be offered at discounted fares (Pass holder fares).

The pass seats can be reserved by clicking on "Seat Reservations“ & feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.

Please click on the “Fare Details” tab to view details regarding the type of fare, type of seat, whether a reservation is included or not and the After Sales Policy.

Hope this helps!!!
