p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 13.0px Helvetica}

Hello, I'm planning a holiday in Switzerland with my family (4 adults). We are arriving in Zurich on 13Jul17. From there, taking train to Luzerne. Staying 3 nights in Luzerne and hoping to see Mount Titlis where we are there. After Luzerne, we are planning to taken the Golden Pass route to Montreux and stay 2 nights at Montreux. From Montreux, we intend to go Interlaken and stay another 2 nights there. While in Intelaken,we would like to see Jungfraujoch -Top of Europe. After Interlaken, we'll be going straight to Zurich airport. I would like to know how many days Swiss pass tickets I should purchase. Which ticket is most recommended for our travel? Thank you.

Hello Jennifer,

Thanks for the question.

As per your Itinerary it is best to purchase Swiss Travel Pass for your travel.

To purchase Swiss Travel Pass click "Here".

You will need to select the valaidity in your Pass depending on your Itinerary and travel date.

A travel day is from 12:00 am to 23:59 pm during which you can take as many trips you wish.

As Jungfraujoch and Mt Titlis are via cable car/mountain train, you will need to book locally as it is not bookable on the website.

Children below 16 years are free if accompanied by at least one parent having a Swiss Pass. We issue a Swiss family card for children.

With a Swiss Travel Pass you can travel free within Switzerland on the STS (Swiss Travel System) network on trains, buses and boats. Also with a Swiss Pass you would get discounts on mountain excursions within Switzerland. These discounts can only be availed locally by showing your Swiss Pass to the ticketing office in Switzerland.

With a Swiss Travel Pass you can travel free on intercity trains within Switzerland. You will require compulsory seat reservations on Scenic trains.

In order to book seat reservations, please visit our website.

The pass seats can be reserved by clicking on “Seat Reservations” & feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.

Please click on the “Fare Details” tab to view details regarding the type of fare, type of seat, whether a reservation is included or not and the After Sales Policy.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,

Leora, Rail Europe Travel Expert.
