getting between specific locations over 20days

What is the best option if we are in the UK for 20 days but we have set locations we need to visit and spend a different amount of nights per each location.

We want to go from London to Portsmouth (1night) to Cardiff (4-5 nights) to Birmingham (3-4nights) to Kendal (2night)to Glasgow (5-6nights)?

Is there some kind of multi-day pass. Or would it be better to book each train seperatly...? We dont want to pay for 20day pass when we are only going to the few locations.

Please let me know.

Dear Ellie,

Thank you for your question.

The BritRail Pass is the most complete pass to visit England, Scotland and Wales.

With a pass you can travel free on regional trains.

Despite having a pass reservations are mandatory with additional cost on high-speed trains, night trains, scenic trains and border crossing trains.

The pass seats can be reserved by clicking on "seat reservation" when using your rail pass & then feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.

Hope this helps!!!
