Germany to Benelux

We've plan to visit Germany: Berlin to Dresden at June 18, and go to Brussel at June 21 then to Amsterdam at June 26. In Brussel we want to take 1 day tour to Brugge and another 1 day tour to Antwerpen.

Which ticket is best for two of us? Railpass or point to point ticket?

We need to know wether the Railpass ticket can be used for travel between cities within a country?

Thanks in advance!

Hello Bitri,

Thanks for the question.

As you are travelling many cities you can purchase the Eurail 2 country Pass for Germany and Benelux as Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg is considered as one country under Eurail. This pass allows you to travel on regional and domestic trains within the mentioned countries.

To purchase the pass click "Here".

Keep in mind that seat reservations would be mandatory for all High-Speed, Night, Scenic and Border Crossing trains. But, you will avail pass holder/discounted fares for these journeys with the pass.

In order to book seat reservations, please visit our website

Kindly note that pass seats can be reserved by clicking on "I have a rail Pass" on the home page of our website under "Book Train tickets" & then select the name of the pass and feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on "Search". Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.

Please click on the “Fare Details” tab to view details regarding the type of fare, type of seat, whether a reservation is included or not and the After Sales Policy.

Yes, the pass can be used to travel from one city to another within a country as well as from one country to another, provided seat reservations are purchased for the required trains.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,

Amar, Rail Europe Travel Expert.
