Germany-France Trip

Hi, I'm visiting Germany and France this December with train trips:

Train day 1: Dec 16 - Frankfurt Main Airport to Paris

Train day 2: Dec 23 - Paris - Strasbourg

Train day 3: Dec 26 - Strasbourg - Heidelberg

Tran day 4: Dec 29 - Heidelberg - Frankfurt Airport

I wanted to compare price difference if I get the France-Germany pass against purchasing separate tickets, but your online service says, "It is too early to book the requested journey. The reservation will be available as from the 07/12/15 . Please select an earlier travel date or set-up an email reminder."

Can you give me advice for my itinerary?

Hello Dension,

Thanks for your question.

As you are traveling extensively, I suggest you purchase Eurail France-Germany Pass.

The Eurail France-Germany Pass is the most comprehensive pass to visit France and Germany.

With a Pass the seat reservations will be offered at discounted fares (Pass holder fares).

The pass seats can be reserved by clicking on "Seat Reservations“ & feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.

Please click on the “Fare Details” tab to view details regarding the type of fare, type of seat, whether a reservation is included or not and the After Sales Policy.

Hope this helps!!!
