Hello Dhiraj,

Thanks for your question.

To start off, I would recommend that you purchase a France Rail Pass as your travel in the country is extensive. The pass would give you unlimited travel on all regional and national trains with the country.

Keep in mind that seat reservations would be mandatory for all High-Speed, Night, Scenic and Border Crossing trains. But, you will avail pass holder/discounted fares for these journeys with the pass.

To purchase the pass click "Here"

The following is your travel plan with train routing:

- Paris to BordeauxTGV train.

- Bordeaux to Agde via ToulouseIntercites and TER trains.

- Agde to Marseille via Avignon – TER trains. (However there are a couple of direct TER trains, subject to schedule).

- Marseille to Lyon – TGV or TER trains.

- Lyon to AnnecyTER train.

- Annecy to Chamonix via St Gervais Les Bains – TER trains.

- Chamonix to Martigny – This sector would have to be booked locally as it cannot be booked on your website.

- Martigny to Yvoire via Nyon – These sectors would have to be booked locally as it cannot be booked on your website.

- Yvoire to Nyon – Book locally.

- Nyon to Basel via Olten – Eurocites trains.

- Basel to Colmar – TER train.

- Colmar to Paris – TGV train.

In order to book tickets, please visit our website.

The pass seats can be reserved by clicking on “Seat Reservations” & feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.

Please click on the “Fare Details” tab to view details regarding the type of fare, type of seat, whether a reservation is included or not and the After Sales Policy.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,

Anthony, Rail Europe Travel Expert.
