Hello Sandy,

Thanks for the question.

Yes, we do have discount for Eurail Select Pass 3 countries with Austria - Switzerland - France. Kindly click on 1st and 2nd class while purchasing tickets as 2nd class option is only eligible for Youth travelers.

To purchase Eurail Select Pass 3 countries click "Here".

Keep in mind that seat reservations would be mandatory for all High-Speed, Night, Scenic and Border Crossing trains. But, you will avail pass holder/discounted fares for these journeys with the pass. With a Pass you can travel on regional/intercity trains within a country.

In order to book seat reservations, please visit our website.

The pass seats can be reserved by clicking on “Seat Reservations” & feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares.

Please click on the “Fare Details” tab to view details regarding the type of fare, type of seat, whether a reservation is included or not and the After Sales Policy.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,

Leora, Rail Europe Travel Expert.

Hello Leora. Would using one of the 4 days of a 2 country Eurail pass (with the 20% and 15% discounts) to get from Zurich to Colmar be cheaper than doing a point to point journey and back same day?? Please do the calculations for me thanks!

Hello Sandy,

Thanks for your reply.

If you have Eurail 2 country select Pass with France and Switzerland, you do not have to purchase point to point ticket from Zurich to Colmar as you will have to purchase seat reservations for this route with a Pass.

A travel day lasts from 12:00 am to 23:59 pm during which you can take as many trips you wish with a Pass.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,
