I also plan to travel on the 28th of december 2014 from athens in greece to santorini in greece.

are there trains to and from santorini.

appreciate your advice

Thanks for your question.

You would have to travel as follows :

- Athens to Santorini – Ferry. You would have to book locally in Athens, as this sector cannot be booked on our website.

Please note that a rail pass allows you to travel extensively within the country you have chosen. If you plan only 2 - 3 train journeys during your stay in Europe, point to point tickets will certainly be cheaper than a rail pass.

If you wish to travel extensively within Greece, I suggest that you purchase a Greece Pass.

In order to book tickets, please visit our website

You would need to feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares. You need to select the fare which is preferable to you and then Add it to Cart. Once added, you need to mention the names of the passengers to make the payment on the next page.
