a pass or "point to point"?

My partnerand I are travelling in London, Paris, Toulouse, Brussels, Bruges, Amsterdam, Prague and Vienna in May and June this year.

Dateswill encompass 26th May to 29th June. Our travel dates within thistime are fixed. Since we have to study in Toulouse during 8th June to 28th June. And we want to spend 4 days in Paris during 24th June to 27th June.

Our plans are London to Brussels (We already brought the Eurostar tickets), Brussels to Den Haag, Den Haag to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to Prague (By Airplane), Prague to Vienna(by OBB) ,Vienna to Toulouse (By airplane) and Toulouse to Paris.

So we are looking at around 5 days of train travel out of cities (which are Brussels to Amsterdam (1-2 days, One way) and Toulouse to Paris (3-4 days, rounded trip)).

Is a rail pass best for this trip or individual tickets - a rough tally up using train prices from May 2017 result in slightly lower $$ in comparison to a rail pass - plus there is also need to buy the “Intercity” ticket and train ticket from Brussels to Den Haag Do you recommend a pass or should we book separately?

Hello Hiu Ki Lai,

Thanks for the question.

As per your Itinerary it is best to purchase point to point ticket for your travel. You can book and travel as follows:

- Brussels to Den Haag via Rotterdam - Thalys and Intercity trains.

- Den Haag to Amsterdam - Intercity train.

- Prague to Vienna - Railjet train.

- Toulouse to Paris - TGV train.

- Paris to Toulouse - TGV train.

In order to book tickets, please visit our website.

You would need to feed in the Departure city and the Arrival city along with the travel date and preferred time & the number of passengers (Senior, adults, youth and children), and then click on “search tickets”. Once you do so, you would find the schedules along with the fares. You need to select the fare which is preferable to you and then add it to Cart. Once added, you need to mention the names of the passengers to make the payment on the next page.

Hope this helps!!!

Best Regards,

Leora, Rail Europe Travel Expert.
